In a tweet, billionaire investor Bill Ackman has criticized First Lady Jill Biden in a provocative way for putting her personal interests first before her husband’s health and that of the nation’s security. In his post on Twitter. Mr. Ackman stated that the President was no longer of sound mind to make serious decisions about himself.
“I don’t blame US President Biden for not stepping aside anymore; He can no longer think straight,” he posted.
However, he attributed this to the First lady stating that she is allowing herself to be attached to various privileges associated with the position. “However, it is increasingly obvious that @FLOTUS Jill Biden is responsible. FL Jill Biden stops being important when her husband ceases being president…No more Air Force One. No more glamorous life…No more White House dinners for dignitaries…No more being treated like a queen when traveling around the world,” he continued in part four of his tweet.
According to him, Jill Biden values her lifestyle over Joe Biden’s health and the country’s safety. “I’m sorry but what has become abundantly clear regarding the First Lady is that she values herself over her husband’s health and America at large. Stress as we all know can contribute to neurological deterioration and I am sure the doctors have told her this – think how much stress she must be causing him to continue.”
Additionally, Ackman noted how during public appearances. She acts like Joe Biden is an infant or old man and gets crowds excited at events.
The tweet went on to suggest that as President Biden’s health seems to worsen, Jill Biden’s influence grows stronger. “Her power has clearly grown as he gets weaker … And she likes feeling powerful …She speaks for the president when he can’t or when he is napping… She tells his team and staff when he is available, and when he is not… She likes being in control. We all do…” wrote Ackman.
Ackman warned that Jill Biden is also destroying her own legacy with the President’s. ‘Perhaps she didn’t understand what ‘in sickness and in health’ meant,’ the piece ended.
This has sparked a heated debate on social media between supporters and critics of Biden. The White House has not yet responded to Mr. Ackman’s comments.
Various Democratic stakeholders, including party supporters, finance contributors, and both past and present staffers have expressed discontent over US President Joe Biden’s poor performance in a recent debate against his Republican opponent, Donald Trump. Throughout the debate, Trump persistently reiterated overt untruths most notably his assertions of victory in the 2020 presidential race. Nonetheless, Biden failed to adequately dismiss these allegations, thus raising concerns amongst his allies.
As such, some are calling on him to reconsider running for re-election. While others want an overhaul of his internal team of advisors.
