On 12th June at 11.27 am, Mr N. Chandrababu Naidu the national president of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) will be sworn in as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.
The oath-taking ceremony is likely to take place at a location near an IT park at Kesarapalle near Gannavaram airport.
This event is likely to be attended by Bharatiya Janata Party’s Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi and some senior leaders from National Democratic Alliance (NDA), and a few chief ministers of different states.
Initially, TDP leaders had thought that such an event could take place near AIMS at Mangalagiri but it was later on changed to Kesarapalle because this site does not fit for various reasons such as security among others.
Out of 175 assembly constituencies in the state, the NDA won 164 while TDP won 135; JSP gets only 21 seats while BJP has eight seats; YSRCP got eleven seats.
At present eyes are on government formation and cabinet reshuffle. The alliance partners (JSP and BJP) must fulfil their obligations, former ministers should get preference, prioritize leadership according to age, balance regions caste gender equations are some factors that may be taken into account.
