On July 24, the Indian Meteorological Department predicts that Mumbai and its outskirts will experience some rains ranging from light to a heavy one in some parts of city and suburbs. It further added that the town may get occasional gusty winds up to 50-60 kmph.
Mumbai recorded 26.28 mm of rain from 8 a.m. on July 23 till 8 a.m. on the next day while the eastern suburbs received 44.54 mm of rainfall and the rest of western suburb got wet by as much as 41.39 mm.
High tide will be highest at around pm (2:11) with a height of about 4.72 meter and then low tide at pm (8:20) approximately 1.12 meter.
Due to an overhead wire issue between Matunga and Sion stations, Central Railway local trains had a delay of fifteen minutes; while suburban trains on Western Railway were delayed for up to fifteen minutes more than their scheduled time.
