Among Amazon Prime Video originals, Mirzapur is one of the most awaited. As such, fans are eagerly anticipating the third season of the show. Last month Ali Fazal released some interesting series of photos on his role as Guddu Bhaiyya and now the streaming platform teased fans by unveiling the release date of the series but with a twist.
Mirzapur’s official Instagram shared a poster that has some key characters presented in caricatures. The poster also features some deaths that have happened in different seasons and are represented by different characters including Divyenndu Sharma as Munna and Pankaj Tripathi as Akhandanand Tripathi along with others like Kulbhushan Kharbanda (Satyanand Tripathi) and Vijay Varma. In addition, they posed a riddle tied to solving for the release date, “Mirzapur S3 ki release date chuppi hai isme Dhoond sakte ho toh dhoond lo! They also captioned this photo saying, “Ab #MS3W poochna nahi, dhoondna hai. Toh ho jaiye shuru”.
Fans originated their guesses about when it would be released owing to their excitement with respect to this display. Among them were people who thought that several elements on the poster indicated that it was being released in July which is usually the seventh month of every year. One fan wrote: “I have 2 guess… 1st – 21th July 2024 (full moon on 21st, and guns, bullets, carpets, people are 7) and other is so common as everything is seven then it’s thala for a reason 7-7-2024,” while another added: “Month 7(July) 5 written on Number Plate , So date 5 .05/07/2024, Which is also First Friday of July.” Another user attended: “7 carpets, 7 bullets, 7 guns, 7 people = 7 july”.
Additionally, Ali Fazal shared a video too where he seemed to be hinting at having a launch for Mirzapur 3 as he talks in the video in quintessential Guddu Bhaiyya style. The caption read “Aa rahein hai na peshi mein, date pata lagane?”.
Mirzapur is based on gang wars that take place in a small town in Uttar Pradesh and it will be streamed live through Amazon Prime Video.
