The Minister of Information Technology Nara Lokesh and Visakhapatnam MP K Apparalawda Naidu has instructed the Resident Commissioner in New Delhi to make arrangements for bringing back the devotees who are stuck in Kedarnath.
A few devotees from Vizianagaram district undertook a trip to Kedarnath temple in August this year through a private travels. Some pilgrims were stuck because of the heavy rainfall and inclement weather. The stranded pilgrims managed to call their relatives and asked them for help to they raker them.

Mr. Lokesh and Mr. Appala Naidu however assured to get in touch with the relevant Minister in Centre & ukd government official and help in the rescue of the devotees
The MP said efforts are being made to air lift the stranded pilgrims. “We are in touch with the officials concerned in this regard,” Mr. Appala Naidu said.
