A mentally unsound woman was allegedly sexually assaulted by three people at Davuluru village in Krishna district.
It was after the doctors confirmed that the survivor (26 years old) was two months pregnant that the whole incident came into notice. A case has been registered after a complaint from the family members, informed Kankipadu Circle Inspector V. Srinivas Rao.
“We are trying to nab the suspects. The injured woman has been admitted to a hospital,” noted Mr. CI on Tuesday.
