According to report, Megan Thee Stallion is scheduled to perform at an upcoming rally for Harris, thus infusing her star power into Kamala’s presidential campaign in Atlanta. She told about her participation through Instagram which was reported by rapper on her page.
Megan wrote “ATL hotties see you tomorrow,” as a hint of what she was going to do on stage.
This adds to a number of times Megan had supported Harris’ course. In March 2023, Harris who was then vice president and Megan Thee Stallion took to the stage together during Women’s History Month brunch held at the latter’s residence in DC. Several pictures were posted showing their interaction which she highlighted on her social media pages.
Megan joins other musicians endorsing Harris for Democratic presidential nomination. Beyonce featured on a campaign track by Harris thus allowing song “Freedom” to be used as walk-out music for Harris and first campaign ad ever. Another example is when Cardi B, known for collaborating with Megan on “WAP,” defended Harris against sexist criticisms.
Ever since leading Joe Biden outed himself from the race last Sunday, there has been significant excitement about his successor’s candidacy which sparked a lot online interest. One such moment occurred when Charli XCX described her as “brat” in response to Brat being one of X (formerly Twitter) cultural icons among them this year; however, he quickly embraced that support by changing slime green album cover photo profile header accordingly
Harris has been targeting young people lately: she debuted on TikTok not long ago and made a cameo appearance in Lance Bass’ post about *NSYNC’s “Bye Bye Bye.” These are just some of the highlights of this rally which will come alive with Megan Thee Stallion performing before large crowds.
