Karan Johar celebrated twenty five years of his presence in Bollywood with the release of Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani and continued his winning streak at the box office. Immediately after the release of this film by Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt, Karan Johar confirmed that his next film will be an action movie which he is currently scripting. So now it’s clear that Bollywood Hungama has made a story on casting news being associated to Karan johar’s next film.
According to our reliable sources, Sidharth Malhotra is said to be in final discussions to star in Karan Johar’s action film. “Karan Johar has always had a special place for Sidharth Malhotra; something tells him that Sid should be doing action films. While he was still forming the story idea, Sid came naturally into mind as well. He pitched the script to Sid who expressed interest in his mentors’ action film,” said a source from trade.
Also according to the same source, we have learned that KJo is now working on a quintessential hero vs villain movie and it will be treated as two-hero face-off by him. “Given what Karan has accomplished so far along with Sidney’s loyalty for him, everything will go smoothly and there will be no hitches when Karan Johar makes a final decision on whether or not they should sign on the dotted lines once he finishes scripting out the whole thing,” added our source who further told us that presently, it’s just an oral agreement.
