A shooting at the Amazura event hall in Jamaica, Queens, late Wednesday night left at least 11 people injured, according to law enforcement officials.
The incident occurred around 11:20 pm, with gunfire erupting near the nightclub, Daily Mail reported citing AMNY.
Authorities revealed that at least three victims managed to walk into a local hospital seeking medical attention, while others were rushed to nearby medical facilities.
The police have not yet disclosed the motive behind the shooting or identified any suspects.
This comes after a deadly terror attack in New Orleans on New Year’s Day, when the suspect Shamsud-Din Bahar Jabbar drove a truck into a crowd of revelers on Bourbon Street, killing 15 people and injuring several others.
Meanwhile, in Las Vegas, a Tesla Cybertruck rented through Turo erupted into flames outside the Trump International Hotel Wednesday morning. The explosion, which left one person dead and seven others injured, is being treated as a possible act of terrorism.
