The globe-trotting Raj-DK filmmakers, the director duo behind Citadel: Honey Bunny, are eagerly looking forward to its premiere. But their other series have gained much traction- mostly The Family Man. Manoj Bajpayee in the lead role of an undercover agent for example has attracted many viewers and now that the third season is being highly anticipated by fans reports reveal that it will be capped with a fourth edition.
This is not official but some sources suggest they are considering it. However, they will only make a final decision after the release of season three. According to insiders at Mid-Day, the showrunners want it over and done with on number four. As per one insider, “Season three’s production is going on and everyone in the team is very excited about how it looks so far. In parallel however there are discussions about ending it all with a fourth chapter.” At this moment in time Raj-DK are playing with this idea without making any final choices yet.
They stated though no determinative conclusion has been reached yet concerning that matter.“We are still exploring possibilities for closing out,” said our source. “The final call will be taken following discussions with all the stakeholders only after they wrap up the third season,” he added.
However, unlike in previous series where Srikant was seen as a model husband and father as well as a tough spy, at present his character is experiencing some kind of crisis within his family life too which makes audiences wonder what happens next between them and when he would appear again in this capacity. “This hasn’t been resolved yet; we don’t know whether or not it’s going to stop,” noted our informant.
Audiences were left hanging by Season 2 like at first because many questions remained unanswered regarding Manoj Bajpayee’s future role in Srikant Tiwari’s upcoming project or another plot twist affecting his character ties towards his wife children plus other relatives. Some of these questions are likely to be answered during the third season which will also introduce another possible danger facing the land. This series is supported by such actors as Priyamani, Sharib Hashmi, Shreya Dhanwanthary and others
