Manoj Bajpayee sold his luxurious flat in Mumbai’s posh Mahalaxmi locality for a cool Rs 90 million. This deal was signed as an agreement of sale and witnessed by the management on August 2018 which attracted stamp duty fee worth ₹5.4 million.
Situated within Minerva, one of the high-end residential towers erected by Lokhandwala Kataria Constructions, the house lies on two acres accommodating 362 units giving a combination of luxury and contemporary lifestyles. The apartment has a carpet area of about 1,247 sq ft along with double car parking spaces that cover around additional 240 sq ft.
According to data from Square Yards, this apartment was first acquired by Manoj Bajpayee approximately ten years ago during April 2013 with his wife Shabana Bajpayee for INR six crore forty lakhs. For it to be registered in their names they had paid INR three lakh registration fee along with INR thirty two lakhs stamp duty.
Mahalaxmi is not Bajpai’s only investment in real estate which he has made so far. In a more strategic move last year, the actor spent INR thirty-two crores buying four different office units based at Oshiwara in Mumbai. This purchase underscored Bajpayee’s shrewdness when it comes to widening his asset base as per the current trend among Bollywood stars. Several other popular actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Kajol and Ajay Devgn have lately invested their money into commercial properties.
