After the third National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government came to power, President Droupadi Murmu addressed a joint session of Parliament as her first major presidential address. She commended the Election Commission for conducting successful elections for the 2024 Lok Sabha and congratulated all the newly elected Members of Parliament.
In her speech, President Murmu spoke about the accomplishments of her administration. She described the forthcoming Budget as one that would set out a vision for the future.
