“The intention behind joining politics was that I should spend the rest of my life meaningfully. Having served in public life for 35 years as a bureaucrat, all the experience should be utilized and not wasted. Since elections are coming soon after my retirement, I asked if It was possible to contest this election and the AICC graciously accepted my request and selected me as a candidate here,” Naik said.

Raichur Loksabha constituency in Kalyana district of Karnataka faces various problems such as healthcare, unemployment, education and lack of transport facilities. Kumar Naik realizes that these issues are priority areas and claims that a systematic approach can solve the problem within 10 years.

“The Indian government has identified Raichur and Yadgir as ideal areas, which means there is still a lot of work to be done here. The focus of my work here is on education, health and livelihoods. Similar problems continue. Although per capita income has improved a lot Great improvements, but issues such as education, health and malnutrition remain and require a systemic approach within a decade that we can make meaningful changes,” he said.

The former bureaucrat, who is set to succeed BJP sitting MP Raja Amareshwar Naik, admitted that imposing safeguards was his ammunition and against the BJP MPs, which could help He won the first election.

“There are a large number of anti-incumbent people here and I believe the BJP MPs have not visited these places. I have dealt with these people and I believe they have not even heard his name. They have not seen his face, it’s just that they There is a MP. Issues like the need for AIIMS, IITs have not been actively discussed, but none of the 25 BJP MPs are talking about Raichur and it has not left Krishna. Riverbank. Kumar Naik said your voice will be heard in the Lok Sabha.

“These guarantees are an interesting campaign for Congress. The government implemented this policy after coming to power and won huge trust from the poor and the middle class. These are of great significance for improving people’s livelihood and alleviating poverty. This is the perfect ammunition for the campaign, and we It has been used to great effect and the response has been spontaneous,” the Congress candidate added.

Bharatiya Janata Party candidates seeking votes in Modi’s name weigh in. Kumar Naik countered that it was the Siddaramaiah wave that prevailed in the state. Not Modi, and asserted that Siddaramaiah’s strength was an asset to the campaign.

The former bureaucrat, who thanked the AICC for trusting him in this election, said his only aim was to bring the voice of Krishna Bank to Yamuna Bank in Delhi.
