The snapshot shown above, taken on May 19th, 2024 and released by Pakistan’s Press Information Department (PID), depicts Musadik Malik – Minister for Federal Affairs and Senator of Pakistan – welcoming Pakistani students back from Kyrgyzstan at the late hours in Islamabad. According to Pakistani foreign minister, more than 650 Pakistani students are going to be sent home after an outbreak of violence between locals and foreigners near student dormitories in the capital city of Bishkek on May 19.
Authorities have announced through officials that any queries relating to this should be directed to the district disaster management office by parents of Kyrgyzstan studying Maharashtra children who were affected by violence.
According to a statement from Hingoli district administration on Tuesday, around 500 medical students from Maharashtra are currently studying in Kyrgyzstan; therefore, they might face some problems as a result of violence.
In response to mob attack incidents in Bishkek targeted against international students especially South Asians including Indians etc., Central Government advised its citizens not to go out till further notice because it can easily lead towards confrontation with mobs.
The administration of Hingoli has requested the parents of students in Kyrgyzstan to reach the district disaster management office and inform them about their concerns, it stated.
According to it, local authorities there will hold these learners’ exams online.
It was said that approximately five hundred students could return to India during next four weeks.
