The monsoon has always had this special place in the hearts of romantics. As a matter of fact every movie from Bollywood to be produced ever always celebrates a baarish – wala romance between its leads. This is not any different for popular actors Paras Kalnawat and Adrija Roy like most actors who have the dream of shooting one such rainy and dreamy sequence on screen one day. It appears also that their prayers have been answered as the two will feature in one romantic fantasy rain sequence as Rajveer and Palki on their ongoing Zee TV show Kumkum Bhagya.
Paras Kalnawat and Adrija Roy share their excitement of shooting a ‘baarish’ sequence
Speaking about this, Paras Kalnawat said, “I had always wished to shoot some romantic dance sequence during rains and getting to shoot for this particular one was nothing short of a dream come true’. I can’t explain how it felt like; it seemed surreal especially with the Mumbai rains coming alive. Growing up watching Bollywood movies I badly wanted to shoot something like that.”
Adrija Roy stated, “I love monsoons and when I found out that Paras and I were going to shoot in rains, I was very excited. It was a very cute moment where my character, Palki comes out of jail and hugs Rajveer (Paras). Shooting in that weather was indeed very challenging but seeing the team being content with shot made us really happy, and I think our hard work paid off.” Well how much would you just love seeing Paras & Adrija experiencing their dream amidst Mumbai’s rainfall?
