The director, Aanand L Rai, is all set to bring together Dhanush and himself after their huge hit Raanjhanaa in which case Kriti Sanon may also join the cast of their romantic epic: Tere Ishk Mein. A year ago it was released with a great announcement featuring AR Rahman as the music composer and Irshad Kamil as the lyricist, but since then there has been no information regarding its cast. Still a report shows that Kriti Sanon is in final talks with Dhanush to work alongside him on this musical love story.
Kriti Sanon had liked what she heard when Aanand L Rai explained it to her couple of months back,” says an insider close to the filmmaker who told Pinkvilla. She’s especially impressed by the complexity of her character and her journey through change during the movie. The actress has agreed verbally but final papers should be over within two weeks.
In another line, he/she suggested another important role for men in the film saying,” The same way Abhay Deol’s character had an impact in Raanjhanaa; even Tere Ishq Mein has strong male role.” They are currently talking to several actors before they finalize on these roles.
The expectation around Tere Ishk Mein is tangible as production starts up next month (October 2024) and release expected by next year (2025). The film is written by Himanshu Sharma and Neeraj Yadav under Colour Yellow Productions banner.
