Kill, India’s most explosive action thriller, is finally streaming on disney+ hotstar. With blood, blasts, and high-octane action sequences; Directed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhat, this film gives the goosebumps as the fans imagine a bloody rampage unfolded, packed with high-octane action serving fine performances from the debutant, Lakshya and Raghav Juyal and Tanya Maniktala who helps lift the movie.
Writer and Director Nikhil Nagesh Bhat said, “Seeing Kill stage from its initial success where it had a good run theatrically to now gearing up for a release on Disney+ Hotstar is something which is really thrilling to me personally. For the logical reason, I reached back to around 94-95 from my memory to find a story that had affected me so much that I was prompted to write Kill. So, translating that raw emotion into Kill as much as I could was what was essential for me. Of course, Kill wouldn’t have been possible without Lakshya’s raw skills, Raghav’s professional approach, and the entire team’s support! I am really glad how the audiences connected to it and with its release on Disney+ Hotstar, my anticipation is that a wider audience will be able to sit back and appreciate the film.”
Debutant Lakshya said, “I am particularly thankful for the affection that I have received through this movie. For my character Amrit I had to undergo a lot of transformation including a very strict diet. I would say at times I was push further than I should have in order to get into the skin of the character. Nikhil sir has been a light throughout this entire process and I see him as the biggest mentor to me.”
There’s so much excitement and energy within the later parts that stressed me out, but in a good manner, and I want to experience different roles! With the new release of the movie on Disney + Hotstar, I am hoping for a larger audience that will appreciate this grandiose mayhem and bloodbath action.”
Actor Raghav Juyal said “Second day Kill bade audition to Lakshya shooting was completely enjoyable to me. Well, I always said This is how I do not infringe in my work, no way. With Kill, I got to exhibit to the world that I can also act and that too in a negative role which is quite challenging and demands a lot of conviction. This one we and Lakshya did a lot of physical training, that made our off-screen bonding much better. The best thing I find about my character Fani is the dark sense of humor and sarcasm he possesses. For this role, preparation for the character was more mental than physical as Fani is smart, and there are thrills in the movie courtesy of him. As the film streams on Disney + Hotstar, I wish more people will be able to view it and cherish it as we did while shooting for it!”
Kill will be available only on Disney+ Hotstar starting the sixth of September.
