The initial sneak peek of JioCinema Premium’s forthcoming detective drama series, Shekhar Home featuring the enigmatic Kay Kay Menon in the lead role.
The teaser provides a glimpse on Menon taking on the character of a very sharp detective. BBC Studios produces it and it is directed by Srijit Mukherjee and Rohan Sippy; this is going to be a thriller narrative that will keep you glued on your seat.
Though plot details are still scarce, from its first look, one can deduce that Menon may take up the role of an unyielding detective who might be examining the intricacies of a thorny case. Sir Arthur Conan Doyle is known to have written some classic stories whose ideas were used as source material for this Indian series based on Sherlock Holmes’ Desi reincarnation. And Kay Kay Menon seems to be giving Desi Holmes.
Doyle’s works laid down the foundation for many detective novels and Shekhar Home appears set to take this tradition forward with an Indian twist.
