The Secretary of Defense, Giridhar Aramane said during this year’s Tuesday that the five soldiers who were killed by terrorists from Jammu and Kashmir region leading to their defeat should not be left unpunished.
Deeply anguished over the deaths of these soldiers, Rajnath Singh vowed troops will usher peace into this area.
An ambush on Monday by heavily armed terrorists on Badnota area in Kathua resulted in death of five army personnel and as many injured.
A massive search operation has already been launched to track down those responsible for this terrorist attack.
X reads: “I am deeply anguished at the loss of five brave Indian Army soldiers in terrorist attack at Badnota, Kathua (J&K),” the defence minister said.
“I really condole with all families particularly hard hit ones; our country stands firmly beside them during these times. Counter terrorism operations are currently taking place with our troops resolute on bringing back peace and stability within this region,” he added
Singh stated “I also pray for quick recovery to those who sustained injuries following that wicked terror act.”
Similarly, India’s Defence Secretary, Mr Aramane expressed his sincere sorrowfulness over death of ‘five Bravehearts’ due to an attack as well as sending prayers to bereaved relatives.
He went ahead saying “We shall never forget their selfless sacrifice for motherland even as we seek vengeance against those behind such a despicable act of terrorism.”
In one instance, Mr. Aramane gave these remarks on X through a spokesperson from Defence Ministry.
