Expectation of fans is on the edge as the loved horror-comedy franchise readies for its third instalment, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. Directed by Anees Bazmee and produced by Bhushan Kumar, it promises to be a festive treat with Kartik Aaryan, Vidya Balan, Madhuri Dixit and Triptii Dimri among others. The movie is going to release during Diwali 2024 weekend.

Furthermore, its ensemble cast is made up of Rajpal Yadav as well as Sanjay Mishra who are playing significant roles. The team has been shooting across elaborate studio sets and real locations over the last four months since filming started in March this year. Production wraps up on August 2 which signals the end of a grueling 75-day schedule.
“It’s a nearly 75-day journey that’s coming to an end on August 2,” said someone close to Pinkvilla from the production house. “The entire star cast of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is shooting at the moment and are excited to finish their journey with the team on Friday.”
Teaser and marketing campaign
With completion of film production imminent attention has shifted towards its marketing campaign. Makers have plans for an ‘extended marketing campaign’ leading up to Diwali release. Sources claim that Kartik Aaryan, Anees Bazmee, Bhushan Kumar & team are currently working diligently on an exclusive teaser cut for ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’.
“The makers are thinking about releasing a teaser keeping the Diwali period in mind… They want to lock VFX output first before they can decide when it will be launched. As soon as possible with the intention of creating content hype, the team is confident of entertaining audiences during Diwali’s festive season,” claims another source.
Heightened expectations and musical treats
It is one of the most awaited films of the year with box office hopes very high for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. Besides, the music in this movie will be another highlight. The soundtrack will have also a reimagined title track featuring Kartik Aaryan alongside ‘Ami Je Tomar,’ an anticipated song where Vidya Balan confronts Madhuri Dixit.

After wrapping up Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, Kartik Aaryan is preparing to begin work on Mudassar Aziz’s sequel to Pati Patni Aur Woh. With consecutive comic entertainers he is slipping back into comfort zone thereby consolidating his position as a leading man in the genre.
