Recently, a Mumbai resident Aishwarya Sharma who is an aspiring film producer fell victim to a major scam. It is reported that the criminal Krishna Kumar Ramvilas Sharma swindled Sharma of a vast sum of Rs 82.75 lakh by promising her to arrange for meeting her with Bollywood actor, Kartik Aaryan.
Aspiring Producer Is Scammed
According to reports, Sharma was also approached by someone named Sharma who supposedly acts as a mediator between actors and producers and had dreams of making a film called Love In London with Kartik Aaryan playing one of the leading roles. Sharma convinced Aishwarya by assuring her about his ties and took huge amounts from her which she paid thinking it was facilitating the meeting.
Cheating And Arrest
However, after taking the money Sharma kept on postponing the appointment saying that Kartik Aaryan was too busy. Eventually Aishwarya became suspicious when she learnt that he actually had no contacts in movies world.By then however, Sharma has vanished together with money.
A case of cheating has been registered at Amboli police station. The police followed up investigations resulting in arresting him on Wednesday at Karnataka after tracing him there.Reports reveal incidentally that before this episode; such cases were recorded against him in Mumbai, Delhi and Chennai.
It is important to note that Kartik Aaryan did not know anything about this scam. Currently, the actor’s schedule is very tight because he is running campaigns for his upcoming movie Chandu Champion directed by Kabir Khan which will be released on June 14.He also has other interesting commitments like Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 among others.
