New Delhi: karnataka police Summoned Bharatiya Janata Party National President JP Nadda and party member Amit Malviya went to the High Grounds police station in Bengaluru and asked them to appear before the Karnataka BJP within seven days over a tweet allegedly targeting the Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe community.

The video was allegedly released on May 4 on the instructions of state president JP Nadda, state president BY Vijayendra and the Karnataka BJP’s social media chief.
According to the Congress party, their manifesto does not propose to transfer funds from caste, scheduled tribe and OBC communities to the Muslim community, as claimed by the BJP. They accused the BJP of spreading false information to win votes during the Lok Sabha elections.
KPCC further claimed that the video was circulated through the official social media account of the BJP to influence votes in the Lok Sabha polls.
