The BJP will have to feel remorse for this move, according to M.B. Patil, the Minister for Large and Medium Industries criticizing the Governor’s decision to allow prosecution of Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah in the MUDA case.
He also accused the Raj Bhavan of becoming an office of the BJP and called the Governor its puppet of Central Government.
Mr. Patil told reporters on August 17th that “When T.J. Abraham filed a complaint against CM, chief secretary of government provided all necessary information to raj bhawan. Then governor hurriedly issued notice to Mr. Siddharamaiah even though there was already suspicion about his conduct. This current move is undesirable; it will not be tolerated by people of Karnataka.”
Muda scam has no merit,” said Mr. Patil alleging undue interest in muda scam by the governor while he ignored requests for prosecution H.D.Kumaraswamy former cm JDS leader and ex- minister shashikala jolle pending for over eight months.
“This is another example of BJP’s bad politics which they brought from Delhi to Karnataka as they did in Tamilnadu,” he added arguing that this showed impatience with congress led government at centre who were elected with massive majority.
“Not Mr Siddaramaih but muda had committed a mistake” stated Mr.pattil adding that bjp government had given alternative sites to family members of siddaramaiah
These decisions were taken during an MUDA meeting where there were some leaders from BJP also.
