On June 21, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah attended the celebrations of the tenth International Yoga Day which were held in Jindal Steel Plant located at Toranagallu in Ballari district of Karnataka.
Mr. Siddaramaiah’s involvement was not only congratulated by government officials but also students from all other educational institutions.
It was organized by the Shwaasa Yoga Samstha in collaboration with Santosh Lad Foundation.
Among others who took part were Labour Minister Santosh Lad, Ballari MP E. Tukaram, yoga guru Sri Vachananda swami, Vinay guruji of Uttarahalli Ashram, actor Sreeleela, MLA Srinivas and Karnataka Milk Federation president Bheema Naik.
IAF celebrates yoga day in Bengaluru
More than 3,000 IAF personnel along with their families and trainees from Agniveervayu participated in the 10th International Day of Yoga conducted by the HQ Training Command (IAF), Bengaluru.
At this event there were personnel and families that came from units under this HQ based in Bengaluru such as Air Force Station Yelahanka, Air Force Station Jalahalli, Command Hospital Air Force Bengaluru and Institute of Aerospace Medicine as well as Air Force Technical College.
