Kareena Kapoor has positioned herself as the queen bee of the Bollywood industry. The latest reports suggest that for the year 2024, she has become the most tax paid women in India.
With several successful films under her belt as well as endorsements and other business ventures, Kareena has supported the tax system with a significant amount of money, beating all the women stars in the entertainment sector
As per the ranking, it was Kareena Kapoor who paid more than any other female celebrity – 20 crore Indian rupees in taxes. She is followed by Kiara Advani with 12 crore rupees.
Even Katrina Kaif ranks third on this hit list with 11 crore rupees. No more female stars can be placed in this rankings.
Kareena’s latest offering to the audience was the film titled Crew, which was also successful at the box office. The Rajesh A Krishnan directed film features Sanon along with Tabu in pivotal roles too.
Based on the reports, tax paid by Bollywood actors was highest by Shah Rukh Khan amongst all Bollywood actors in 2024. Shah Rukh Khan who has been the part of block buster movies has grossed over 2000 crores net foreign currency paid tax was only 92 crores. In tax Vijay was second with 80 crores. Salman Khan paid tax standing at 75 crores.
As for her profession, Kareena Kapoor will soon be featured in the upcoming thriller The Buckingham Murders. This film, which is produced by Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Motion Pictures, Hansal Mehta and Kareena herself in her debut as a producer, is set in London and features kareena as a working mother detective solving a complicated case.
Coming to the cast of this movie, which is predominantly in English (80%) with a few Hindi dialogues (20%) has Ranveer Brar. Earlier this year, this movie has been launched at the BFI London Film Festival and earned a long standing applause. It is directed by Hansal Mehta.
