Karan Johar who is a director and a producer, is working on his upcoming project. Then he announced the Devara trailer and had a press junket with SRK, and has also now departed to Jaisalmer to start work on the Indian version of the ingenious American reality series, The Traitors, reported PinkVilla.
As per the inside sources, Johar will be beginning the show from tomorrow. ‘He has left today and tomorrow he will start his show Traitors, hosting the show with a set of contestants. It’s a very interesting format and all the people who create the show, feel that Karan johar is the best person to host the show,’ reported the publication. Johar, as ascribed, wil be in Jaisalmer shooting for two weeks.
About Traitors and Its Unique Format
The Indian version of The Traitors closely follows the format of the American show with the same name, where an elaborate set is created and contestants locked within it. The concept is inspired by a famous party game called Mafia, where players complete tasks and face various insensible challenges. There are 10 contestants, and for two weeks only one of the group will be located indoors with the aim of being the last not eliminated from the game.
The team concluded its search of the country’s territories and landed on Jaisalmer as the desired place for the show. “The finalists will need to accomplish many activities so as not to be thrown out of the game and it will be very different, very entertaining,” the source went on.
There have been rumors on which of the celebrity contestants will participate on the show, whereby names of Karan Kundra, Sundhanshu Pandey, Raj Kundra, Anshula Kapoor and Jasmin Bhasin were put out. However, where’s the official statement?
