Karan Johar, who is known for his larger-than-life films and love stories, is all set to return to direction after Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani in 2023. The filmmaker had earlier mentioned in an interview that he would like to explore direction more, considering that he has been dedicating more time to production than filmmaking. Now on the occasion of his 52nd birthday, the Dharma head honcho has announced a new directorial.

While his social media is flooded with wishes from stars across the Indian film industry, Karan Johar took this special day to make an announcement close to his heart – which is another movie. The filmmaker posted a photo of him holding a bound book which seems to be a draft of a new script and the front page of the book read, “Untitled Narration Draft Directed by Karan Johar 25th May 2024”. Johar captioned it on his social media page saying, “Get… Set…. Go!” along with a heart emoji. However, he has definitely sparked immense suspense among fans about the details of this upcoming entertainer.
After his post, while fans congratulated him about directing his next venture, many stars also wished him on his special day. Among them were celebrities like Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Aditi Rao Hydari, Kriti Sanon, Malaika Arora, Manish Malhotra, Maheep Kapoor, Zoya Akhtar, Guneet Monga, Prajakta Koli, Gurmeet Choudhary, Neha Dhupia, Arjun Bijlani, Ayesha Shroff, Kim Sharma, Saba Pataudi, Anjali Anand, Hollywood actress Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, among several others who dropped emojis and shared birthday wishes for the filmmaker.
