The Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut, who is standing for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) from Mandi in Himachal Pradesh as a Lok Sabha candidate, has revealed that her election affidavit filed with the Election Commission of India shows her assets at over Rs. 91 crore. The actor cum politician aged thirty-seven years declared movable assets worth Rs. 28.7 crores and immovable assets worth Rs. 62.9 crores.

According to NDTV reports and several other reports by India today newspapers, Kangana holds cash amounting to rupees two lakh and almost RS one crore thirty-five lakhs in her bank accounts which are located in Chandigarh- Delhi-Mumbai triangle. She owns homes at three locations— Mumbai, Punjab and Manali—and drives three luxury cars; BMW (Rs1 Crore), Mercedes Benz (Rs2 Crore) and Mercedes Maybach (Rs2 Crore). The seventh and final phase of Parliament elections will see Himachal Pradesh’s Mandi Lok Sabha constituency go to polls on June 1st as per schedule. The nomination by Vikramaditya Singh had been filed on April 9th.
