Tesla CEO Elon Musk has strongly criticized the free speech views put forth by Vice President Kamala Harris, suggesting instead that she is bent towards ‘abolishing’ this freedom under the Constitution. These comments were made on X (formerly known as Twitter) after a Tweet was written about the implications of Harris as a future President on this freedom.

The tweet in question was about Musk, independent presidential candidate Robert F Kennedy Jr, and ex USCOM Tulsi Gabbard. The 2019 tweet noted Harris’spromise of violence via DOJ and police forces stating, “I will hold everyone accountable including social media platforms, if they spread misinformation trying to fight this assault on democracy.”

Elon Musk replied without hesitation, “Kamala aims to take away your First Amendment rights.”

Kennedy and Musk each previously seemed concerned that Harris may decide to go after X and “shut it down” similarly if requirements of the bald eagle image of government was not satisfied. This unease was prompted by a very ancient video in which Harris lambasted the uncheked influence of social media, particularly Trump’s use of Twitter. Kennedy however appears to have missed Harris’s point which is, in lining of Harris’s allegations Donald Trump was not the issue.

In addition, he also replied to Harris’s video and specified, ‘This is what she really thinks. Free speech is necessary in any society, especially in democracy, and that Democratic party (because Kamala is only a front) seeks to finish this off.’

The media also tried to reach Musk for comments on the reports about Donald Trump planning on establishing a so-called government reform commission, basing it on his very own ideas. Musk referred to this idea as a possible means of ‘great prosperity’ for America.

The presidential elections in the United States will be held on November 5, 2024.
