Kamala Harris would get us into World War III: Donald Trump
Donald Trump and Kamala Harris

As the US presidential elections approach, former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris exchanged strong remarks. Campaigning in Pennsylvania, Trump targeted Harris, saying that if she were elected, she would lead the United States into World War III.
He argued she would be ineffective in dealing with leaders like Chinese President Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin, according to The Hill.
“To make her president would be to gamble with the lives of millions of people. She would get us into a World War III guaranteed because she is too grossly incompetent to do the job,” Trump said.
He added that under her leadership, people’s “sons and daughters will end up getting drafted to go fight for a war in a country that you’ve never heard of.” He claimed the country has “never been so close” to a world war and emphasized his commitment to preventing it.
Trump also mentioned that conflicts such as the recent Hamas attack on Israel would not have happened if he were president.
In contrast, former First Lady Michelle Obama supported Harris at a rally in Michigan. She lambasted Trump and highlighted a perceived “double standard” in the presidential race, as reported by The Hill.
“I gotta ask myself: Why on earth is this race even close? I lay awake at night wondering, What in the world is going on?” Michelle Obama said in Kalamazoo. She expressed frustration that Trump’s actions were being overlooked while Harris faced intense scrutiny.
“I hope you’ll forgive me if I’m a little frustrated that some of us are choosing to ignore Donald Trump’s gross incompetence while asking Kamala to dazzle us at every turn,” she stated. She also pointed out Trump’s past behavior and legal issues, noting, “I hope that you’ll forgive me if I’m a little angry that we are indifferent to his erratic behaviour, his obvious mental decline, his history as a convicted felon, a known slum lord, a predator found liable for sexual abuse, all of this while we pick apart Kamala’s answers from interviews that he doesn’t even have the courage to do, y’all.”
Polls indicate a tight race between Harris and Trump, with Harris slightly leading nationally but tied in Michigan. Michelle Obama expressed hope that voters would reconsider their support for Trump or their decision to abstain from voting.
The Kalamazoo rally marked Michelle Obama’s first appearance campaigning for Harris, coinciding with the start of early voting in Michigan. Former President Obama has also been campaigning in key states, appearing with Harris in Georgia.
The US presidential elections are scheduled for November 5.
