The details of this case are not clear but there are hints of historical misdeeds by some very senior people on film. The suit became highly publicized making it an iconic legal battle till date.

Maharaj is an upcoming movie that takes place in 2024 about the life of Mulji which remains unknown to many people today. It is also a platform for Junaid Khan, son to Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan who makes his debut appearance here playing Mulji, who holds steadfastly to break away from archaic systems.
Khan leads a talented cast for Malhotra’s latest effort as Director Siddharth P. Actor Jaideep Ahlawat also plays a role while Shalini Pandey (in lead) and Sharvari Wagh (in special appearance) also grace this ensemble cast.
“After 162 long years, audiences will finally see that one man who stood against the status quo for once.” This tagline aptly summarizes what this movie is all about. Mulji’s story was burie from public knowledge over a century, until now.
It is an engrossing film, produced by Aditya Chopra under YRF Entertainment banner. This proves storytelling’s timeless power and it brings back to mind those unsung heroes of India that have been long forgott.
