When Shah Rukh Khan Couldn’t Pay EMI
During this event held by Gujarat Chamber of Commerce & Industry in the state; Juhi said that when shah rukh khan came to Mumbai, he didn’t have any fixed place of residence. He would come from home town Delhi and blend with the crew without much effort, even if it meant working more than one shift in a day. And while they worked together on projects like Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman, Dil Aashna Hai and Deewana with Divya Bharti she recalled him once dedicating himself to those films.
Juhi says,”those days I remember Shah Rukh didn’t have a house in Mumbai. So he used to come from Delhi (his hometown). I don’t know where he stayed. He used to be part of unit-(film crew) tea unit (the film crew), eat unit (the film crew), blend unit (the film crew). And then there were 2-3 shifts also.”
She went on to say, ”He had a black Gypsy. But one day it got taken away because he couldn’t pay the EMI or something like that we were told. He came on our set very dejected. ‘You’ll get many more cars,’ I said one day because it’s true. Look at him today.”
