The moment has come for which all the coaching class goers, late-night studying enthusiasts, who took kachoris between their studies have been waiting for. The final roll call is here with us as they are Vaibhav, Meena, Uday, Vartika and Shivangi the dreamers and Aimers get ready to take a life-changing examination. On June 20 Kota Factory launches its third season wherein it will follow students chaotic entry into adulthood alongside their well-trusted teacher and mentor Jeetu Bhaiya.
The drama series’ third season will therefore bring in a new mentor at Aimers where anticipation is high throughout. Gully cricket to random birthday cakes; secret study dates to scribbled whiteboards- this term isn’t one you want to miss out on at any cost! Besides that, this time it will also contain some of the franchise’s deep wisdoms of life including enduring friendships and affections displayed through warm groups hugs. Season 3 of Kota Factory directed by Pratish Mehta produced by TVF Productions is headed up by showrunner Raghav Subbu.
Thus, among other things, Black and White’s new season delves further into its theme about childhood ending in a point when exams determine your future with each student in his/her final year knowing not what lies ahead. However Jerry Bhaiya needs to understand his role as a guide because of Season Two’s heart-breaking cliffhanger. In any case growing up is not just for kids but an endless puzzle whatever your age may be. With Jitendra Kumar Mayur More Ranjan Raj Alam Khan Revathy Pillai Ahsaas Channa Rajesh Kumar returning as Jeetu Bhaiya et.al., we see Tillotama Shome as the new Chemistry teacher in Season Three.
Kota Factory’s showrunner, Raghav Subbu says, “We’ve been on this journey with Kota Factory since 2019, and whether you’ve been in coaching classes like Vaibhav or not, I believe everyone can see bits and pieces of themselves within the show. That’s what makes it so special. On a basic level season three is about growing up painfully but necessarily which every character including the knowing-it-all Jeetu Bhaiya should embark upon their unique self-discovery journeys. By working together with Netflix we were able to make a third season that was true to the story we always wanted to tell.”
According to Tanya Bami, Series Head at Netflix India: ‘Bringing back this cult favourite franchise with its next season fills us with joy’. However for fans of Kota Factory it is not a show but an emotion. This is also a show that connects generations, parents and students alike. The same applies even this year when Vaibhav, Meena, Uday and gang are in their finals. And let us face it there isn’t anyone who does not connect with the pressure, tension and drama of final years; thus we are confident that Jeetu Bhaiya fans as well as those of Kota Factory gang will surely have something to discuss after binging on this season”.
