A source informs that Farhan Akhtar requires three A-list leading men for Jee Le Zara.
That is true about Jee Le Zara, the project is on and with the same cast. However, not now as reported recently by a section of the press.
According to a reliable source close to Farhan, “Farhan doesn’t see any point in denying all these false stories. He is still very committed to the project and intends to make this film only with his chosen actresses Katrina Kaif, Priyanka Chopra and Alia Bhatt. The cast remains. Their dates are being coordinated. Once he completes Don 3, he will start shooting for Jee Le Zara.”
Jee Le Zara’s problem actually lies in its male cast.
“The usual suspects that are brought onboard routinely for films which have author- backed roles for women must not be used in filling up the male parts undergoing auditions,” according to an informant familiar with the situation.

There is a ridiculous report making rounds claiming that Farhan Akhtar intends to “revive” his two-year-old announced chick flick Jee Le Zara with Priyanka Chopra, Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt.
I spoke to a friend close to Farhan on this so-called revival who laughed saying: “Some entertainment outlets ‘revive’ dormant stories when they have nothing to fill their space. How could Jee Le Zara be revived when it was never started? Only the announcement of the three female leads was made. Nothing happened after that. Farhan is not looking at starting JZ anytime soon if ever at all.”
The next film Farhan is likely directing according to the source is Don 3 with Ranveer Singh. “Even that is delayed indefinitely as the script needs polishing,” the source revealed.
