Former Karnataka minister HD Revanna on Thursday moved the People’s Representative Court seeking anticipatory bail in the sexual harassment case against him and his son Prajwal Revanna.
Former prime minister and JD(S) patriarch HD Deve Gowda’s son Revanna moved the court after the SIT formed by the Karnataka government to investigate the sexual harassment case of Prajwal Revanna issued a notice to him.
Prajwal faces charges of sexually abusing women. The state government has set up a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to investigate the case. In recent days, a large number of allegedly explicit video clips involving the 33-year-old lawmaker began circulating in Hassan.
He is the NDA candidate from the Hassan Lok Sabha constituency, which goes to polls on April 26.
