Officials said on Wednesday that a jailed gangster’s spouse has been detained after the assassination of an Air India staff member in Greater Noida in January this year.
Parvesh Maan’s brother Suraj Maan was killed by three men on motorcycles while he was heading to a gym located near his home in an incident that had been linked with power struggle between gang faction of Pravesh Mann and Kapil Maan another jailed gangster.
Perekh, Kajal Khattri, wife of Kapil Maan or rather Lady Don, who is charged with conspiracy behind the murder of Suraj Sukhdev, was also wanted. The 29 year old was picked up from a hotel at Hisar in Haryana.
Mr. Bhatia said that but since kapil was in jail he left Kajal to manage his gang.
The Uttar Pradesh Police had put a cash reward of ₹25000 on her head so they wanted her dead or captured.
Mr. Bhatia said that she has been compassed by our team and she is being puzzled.
In the Khera Khurd, village of Delhi, Kapil and his cousin Parvesh lived, had their families share a common antagonist which had come between them. This quickly escalated to a fullblown gang war where many lives, in the past couple of years, have been lost.
According to police, Kajal stayed on the run ever since the case had been registered in January.
Several teams were looking for Kajal, and she was arrested from a hotel in Hisar in Haryana,” said the officer.
