Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi reacted to a spoof video of himself dancing on Monday, saying he “loves” seeing himself dancing. He appreciated the “poll humor” in the ongoing Lok Sabha elections.
“Like all of you, I love seeing myself dancing. What a joy to have creative ideas like this at the height of the polls! #PollHumour,” the Prime Minister wrote in a post on X.
PM Modi’s reaction comes hours after the same spoof video depicting the West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee Dance, went viral on social media.
Kolkata police asked a social media user to reveal his identity after a prank video of the Trinamool Congress president went viral. The state police said legal action may be taken under Section 42 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC) if the regulations are not followed.
The BJP has reacted strongly to the Kolkata Police’s demand, saying the state police “have more pressing issues at hand than acting like Mamata Banerjee’s doormat”.
Amit Malviya, head of the BJP’s IT cell, also said that the Election Commission of India should take note of “voter intimidation by Kolkata police”, adding that it was the pursuit of a college student at the behest of Bengal’s chief minister The same state police of the professor, just because he shared the Mamata Banerjee cartoon on WhatsApp.

Slamming TMC chief Mamata Banerjee, Ranaut said, “Mamata didi ji, this is what is called a tranquilizer and you should be like this sometimes. You always You’re so angry that you’re going to send the kid who made your dance video meme to jail. Why are you so uncool? But you’re too nervous, rigid, and uncool.
