'It nicked right there': Trump shows first assassination attempt scar during Joe Rogan interview

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, while appearing in an interview with podcaster Joe Rogan, revealed the scar from the first assassination attempt on him during a Pennsylvania rally.
In the podcast titled ‘The Joe Rogan Experience‘, released Friday night, Trump pointed to the bullet wound behind his right ear, which he sustained during the shooting incident, saying, “It nicked right there.” Rogan then remarked, “It healed up pretty f***ing good.”
On July 13, during a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, Trump was shot by gunman Thomas Matthew Crooks, who fired from a rooftop 130 yards away. The bullet grazed Trump’s ear, leaving a scar he referred to as a “top shot.”

Trump also discussed the dangers of being president, mentioning the two assassination attempts on his life. “I do things that don’t necessarily make me so popular. I just do what’s right,” he said, adding, “You make yourself a target, and it’s a very dangerous business.”

Rogan suggested that media portrayals and comparisons to Adolf Hitler may have contributed to such threats, saying, “The rhetoric is that you’re Hitler, and in order to stop Hitler, you have to do whatever it takes.”
The interview was recorded at Rogan’s studios in Austin, Texas, and lasts approximately two hours and 58 minutes.
