The military of Israel is exploring the possibility that Hamas chief Yahya Sinwar, who is widely known as the mastermind behind the events of 7 October attacks, is dead or alive after conflicting media reports about he being alive went round tabloids, New York Post reported.
Additionally, according the intelligence agency Shin Bet and the IDF representatives, there is no new intelligence that proves that Sinwar is dead. However, things are progressing positively as they are still looking into the matter.
“Two Israeli officials with direct knowledge told me Israel doesn’t have positive intelligence, which suggests that Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar is dead. Torn Apart: ‘It is all hopes and guesses which are based on the fact the Sinwae has been incommunicado in recent weeks,’ said an Israeli official, ” Axios correspondent Barak Ravid declared.
Many other media sources have also said that Sinwar would have met with death or sustained injuries following one of the last attacks on an unspecified site within the Gaza Strip.
There have been new developments lately regarding potential death at the same time as reports surfaced that Hamas did not agree to supplementary hostage agreement offered by the US. The 12 channel of Israel suggests that the terrorist leader is standing his grounds for the discussions to go back to the first conditions of the one presidents Biden had presented in May.
