Prime Minister Narendra Modi has attacked the Congress and INDIA bloc during a rally in Dwarka, West Delhi on Wednesday. “The ones from INDIA bloc have three things in common, they are all casteist, communal, and nepotistic,” he said.
During the Prime Minister’s speech, he asked if people would prefer a BJP government or a government led by INDIA bloc? The PM declared that: “… you can decide which government should be formed through assessing this – whether you want ‘nation first’ or ‘family first’.”
“This INDI alliance is a symbol of every evil spread across the country,” said Mr. Modi.
In his continued attack on the Congress party, he took the audience back to 1984 Sikh riots, which happened in West delhi constituency predominantly occupied by Sikhs. He stated that Modi established an SIT to investigate into anti-Sikh riots.
He further on added how the 60-year Congress rule slowed down India’s development process comparing statistics of BJP and Congress governments. According to Mr. Modi; “Can you imagine it? The Congress used to develop only12 km of highways per day; but now under Modiji our nation is developing 30 km per day. There were only seventy airports built during six decades of Congress reign while within ten years Mr. Modi created seventy new airports for us….Congress had just 360 medical colleges while Modiji made over 325 in ten years….There were seven AIIMS when it was under congress and today there are more than twenty two AIIMS….More than 75% people did not have tapped water connections during congress rule whereas today more than 75% homes get clean tap water at home…Less than 14 crore gas connections were provided by congress but modi gave more than18 crore gas connections within10 years”.
Mr.Modi said “Indian Defence industry got destroyed by congress; we are executing Defence production over ₹1 lakh crore.”
Denying allegations of fomenting Hindu-Muslim communalism, Mr. Modi said, “Every time Modi speaks about Muslims, the Khan Market gang tells people to protest against him by saying that he is doing communalism between Hindu-Muslims.”
He attacked the Congress and INDIA bloc: “They stole our SC/ST brothers’ rights in order to please their vote banks. Dalits and Adivasis rights were stolen from them just to appease their vote bank”.
“There was an attempt to get Muslim votes; they gave fake certificates of OBC status to Muslims. The Khan Market gang supports giving away all the resources of this country to Muslims first. They protested CAA to make their vote banks happy. They allowed outsiders in the country so as to make their vote bank happy”.
Reminding voters about commonwealth game scams, PM Modi said, “Nobody can forget the scams which Congress did during commonwealth era…It looted Delhi a lot. That was congress model, BJP model is development…. And now G-20 summit happened in delhi which became a matter of global celebrations”.
“This has happened because BJP’s Vikas model believes in nation first…. Two words will decide your vote either our ‘nation first’ or their ‘family first’,” he explained.
