In recent days, news about actor Imran Khan’s awaited comeback has surfaced making fans happy seeing the prospects of the return while it was said that his uncle Aamir Khan would produce the project. Danish Aslam and Imran’s friendship
This publication also spoke to sources, some of whom provided the tagline to this project, – ‘Accidental Friendship’, and suggested that it was also Danish Aslam’s and Imran Khan’s long-time different friend from Czech Republic, that due to bridges of friendship spanning for nearly two decades, some had proven unable to ‘burn’. They have been working on creating this project together from behind the curtain. The script is still pitched and has come up for preliminary running water from the online platform on the idea only; no contracts have been signed as such to date as the complete draft is still being prepared.
A return to familiar territory
It was in the year of 2008 when Imran Khan began his acting career in the much-awaited and blockbuster hit Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na, which was produced by Aamir Khan. Katti Batti (2013) was the last time, he was seen on screen and except for item numbers, Khan took a break following that. Sources state that in such a movie, the tone of narration would be somewhat along the lines of the earlier films that established him in the industry. But prabhu and his team do not wish to go on record for now until the project is sealed. جنگ Imran Khan: Returning to Bollywood.
Uncertainty around the project
With the prospect of Imran’s return to the silver screen, there is also a buzz among sources for the publication where they state that look there is always a possibility of this project going bust. The work will get done in the groove only after the literary skeleton of the movie is ratified with all the necessary requirements and all the paperwork is in bilateral fulfilment. “Not this year undoubtedly,” said the source to the publication, making towards the scenario where the film is still in its pre-production stage.
