This is the first time the saffron party has fielded a woman from the Hyderabad constituency, known as the AIMIM bastion
A fierce battle is likely to be witnessed between BJP’s Kompella Madhavi Latha and AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi in Hyderabad today, Owaisi West is also a four-term MLA from the same riding. The BJP has fielded an outspoken supporter of Sanatan Dharma and traditional values from Hyderabad, making the campaign a tough battle.
Notably, this is the first time the saffron party has fielded a woman from the seat, known as the AIMIM bastion.
Rasha called on everyone to vote, “I just have to tell all voters that it is the responsibility of every citizen to go out and vote, because voting brings two changes – new changes and development for yourself and your family.” It provides an opportunity to change The lives of the oppressed Dalits, the poor and every abandoned elderly person.
She added: “Voting is the most precious social work and at the same time a selfish desire to pursue development.”
Meanwhile, Owaisi told reporters after the vote, “Every election cannot be the same as five years ago. The challenges are different, the issues are different. This is a very important and historic parliamentary election in our country… People have a lot of feelings for the country.” Different understandings and expectations.
Furthering his attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the AIMIM chief said, “The message (to PM Modi) is that people do not agree with the ideology of the BJP and his remarks against the minority communities.
“Please understand what PM Modi did to Agniveer, if he comes back to power, he will continue to do the same with BSF, CRPF, RPF and SSP. Serve for four years and you are out. People must understand that it will happen soon It will come out,” he added.
Madhavi Latha vs Asaduddin Owaisi in Hyderabad
Madharavi Lata Coming from a non-political background, she is the Chairman of a corporate hospital called Virinchi Hospitals. A noted philanthropist and chairperson of Lopamudra Charitable Trust, she holds a bachelor’s degree from Nizam College and a postgraduate degree in political science from Koti Women’s College.
Even before she announced her candidacy, Madhavi Lata had caused a stir on social media for her speeches and traditional attire. She was also a great supporter of Sanatan Dharma and traditional values. In many speeches, she has praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his devotion to karma yoga, a way to achieve liberation.
Meanwhile, Owaisi has been elected for four consecutive terms since 2004. Before him, his father Sultan Salahuddin Owaisi represented the Lok Sabha constituency for six consecutive terms since 1984.
