LONDON: A man was arrested by British police over the weekend for human remains discovery on Bristol’s famous bridge in Western England. The 24-year-old suspect is under arrest following the discovery of the bodies on Clifton Suspension Bridge, Bristol and will be questioned later in London, said a spokesman for the Metropolitan Police, capital of London.
On Friday two men’s bodies were believed to have been found when police said that remains belonged to adults and that it was possible they had travelled from London with them.
The authorities informed that they were called just before midnight on Wednesday about a suspicious acting suitcase-carrying man on a bridge. Another one was discovered adjacent.
On Saturday, London police did not rule out further investigation but said they were not seeking any possible associate at this time relating to the incident.
“We are mindful of concerns within local communities both in Bristol and London and officers will remain in the affected…areas over the next few days providing reassurance,” Valentine, Deputy Assistant Commissioner stated.
