The movie is a riveting voyage across cultures, tribes, and generations depicting rhythm and sound in Nagaland. It starts from ancient customs of headhunting tribes to the current musical renaissance in Nagaland state giving an immersive journey through music anthropology.

When asked about the premiere, Academy award winner AR Rahman’s said that “the film is very special for us since it sheds light on Nagaland. Which is a beautiful state and has rich cultural and musical history. We are eagerly waiting for Melbourne premiere along with Rohit.”

“I’m very humbled that we’ve bee selected in competition at IFFM. The narrative holds universal relevance; just like music has healing powers beyond compare. After years of hard work on this film, I cannot wait to see audience reactions nor can I wait for them to explore the rich tapestry that is Nagaland’s culture plus its music. Especially releasing a brand new sound from India,” he added.

The film is another landmark production behind 99 Songs by multiple award-winning Rahman. Which was premiere at Busan International Film Festival before now his second major step into filmmaking as producer. Its vision comes from a desire to celebrate music as an international language capable of connecting people.
