On the 30th of July, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a post-Budget session hosted by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).
Speaking at a CII Conference titled A Journey Toward Viksit Bharat, he added that his government has no shortage of political will and will always make decisions with a “nation first approach” in mind.
India is growing at 8% and the day is not far when the country will become the third largest economy globally from the current fifth position, he said.
He also expressed confidence that this milestone will be achieved within his ongoing third term as prime minister.
He also evoked memories of several measures recently announced regarding promotion of MSMEs which employ millions.
“Today, all eyes are on you and India. The policies of governments along with dedication investments are becoming basis for global developments. Investors everywhere want to come to India. World leaders have nothing but positive thoughts about India. This is such a good opportunity for us as an industry we cannot let it pass away,” Mr. Modi stated.
