A glimpse of Kajol and Prabhudeva starrer Maharagni sets the tone for a thrilling entertainer, watch
Maharagni – Queen of Queens is a high budget action thriller from Acclaimed Telugu filmmaker Charan Tej Uppalapati that marks his big break in Hindi cinema. The movie features Kajol, Prabhudeva, Naseeruddin Shah, Samyuktha Menon, Jisshu Sengupta and Aditya Seal. This much awaited mass entertainment extravaganza sees the reunion of Kajol and Prabhudeva after 27 years.
The makers have now released the official teaser video for Maharagni – Queen of Queens after successfully completing its first schedule recently. In this clip, we see Prabhudeva stepping out of a private jet where he is shown as an old warrior with ruthless disposition as he takes on some thugs. The thing then switches to Samyuktha Menon who shares her quest for revenge during an intense car chase sequence. Next up we have Naseeruddin Shah talking in his bedside while lying in bed at hospital waiting to die with heartbroken wish and Kajol appearing in her persona ‘Maharagni’ looking mighty tough like she’s going knock something down. From this intriguing preview alone you can tell it’s going to be filled with action packed scenes balanced with emotional moments.
Top-tier technicians are also involved in this ambitious action thriller, among them being DOP GK Vishnu, Harshavardhan Rameshwar as the music director and Naveen Nooli as the editor. The screenplay is written by Jessica Khurana and Niranjan Iyengar while Saahi Suresh will do the visual aesthetics as a production designer.
Director Charan Tej Uppalapati spoke about the project and said, “Directing Maharagni – Queen of Queens has been an amazing journey. Maharagni – Queen of Queens is a pan-India film directed and written by Charan Tej Uppalapati, produced by Harman Baweja and Venkata Anish Dorigillu under the labels of Baweja Studios and E7 Entertainments that will be released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam languages.
