An Indian YouTuber, known as ‘Passenger Paramvir,’ is gaining social media attention after a video of him calmly responding to criticism of Indian cuisine by a Chinese woman went viral.
In the video, the Chinese woman expressed concerns about the cleanliness of Indian street food after seeing disturbing clips online. The woman showed Paramvir clips of vendors using unhygienic practices, such as shaping dough with their armpits and washing hands over cooking pans. Although Paramvir laughed at the videos, he assured her these practices are uncommon in India. “Trust me, you won’t encounter this on the streets. If you visit a reputable and hygienic place, you’ll enjoy the food,” he said.
Paramvir then invited the woman to a local restaurant to introduce her to authentic Indian cuisine. They enjoyed traditional dishes like dal makhani, shahi paneer, and naan, which eased her skepticism. She even said, “Yummy!”
One X user shared the viral video with the caption: “A Chinese woman shows an Indian vlogger dirty street food videos to embarrass him. Instead, the kind vlogger takes her to a good Indian restaurant and treats her to amazing Indian cuisine in China.”

Paramvir is receiving praise for his calm handling of the situation. One X user called him “a great guy,” while another commented that he “handled it like a champ.” However, one user supported the woman’s claim, saying, “Sahi to kahe raha hai kuch jagahon par saf safai se khana nahi banate hai.” Another user added, “Indians are sometimes too nice.”
