The fourth of July is at the doorstep, and celebrations are all around bringing with them fireworks displays that have become a necessity for Independence Day.
According to Google Trends, people want to know where to go in Los Angeles during the national holiday. Therefore, here is an extensive list of the best places in LA from where you can have spectacular views of fireworks.
Rose Bowl
Watch beautiful fireworks display after an entertaining MSL game at Rose Bowl Stadium. LA Galaxy takes on LAFC from 7:30 pm at Pasadena. The match will be a substitute for AmericaFest, which was cancelled due to budgetary issues. After this soccer match there will be beautiful fireworks as celebration for Fourth of July. Crackers will be launched from Bookside Golf Course located across the road. Time Out suggests that this year, the place is going to get busier than ever before.
Marina Del ray
Experience beautiful fire and light show on top of oceanic view from Marina Del Ray. The annual fireworks show happens at the Marina Channel where water becomes a flamboyant mirror for the fireworks. The event will take place between 9 pm and 9:20 pm each year. You can see the display anywhere along waterfront hotels or restaurants; even Venice where High Rooftop Lounge throws a rooftop party on ticket.
Disneyland
Disneyland has very famous fireworks but one can see a special Fourth of July Fireworks at this amusement park only. Red-blue colored fireworks with some firecrackers saying ‘Celebrate America’ make it look great in night sky. Please book your Disneyland tickets now and watch these amazing pyrotechnics any time after 9:30pm.
Hollywood Forever Cemetery
This coming Fourth of July could not get any more exciting for film enthusiasts in Los Angeles area than Cinespia’s festival night plus a finale fireworks show! On July 4th three movies will be screened including Rocky on 5th July Charlie’s Angels and on 6th July Shrek 2 in Hollywood.
Long Beach
The fire show will begin at 9 pm at Long Beach over Queensway Bay with no entry fee. The fireworks are see from attractions lining the waterfront area. Boats can be rent to watch the fireworks from, including one that departs from Rainbow Harbor and costs $50-$75 or another option is through the Queen Mary for $55 with food and music aboard.
Huntington Beach
Spend an entire day at Huntington Beach Pier for its legendary Fourth of July celebrations. Get out into nature, relax, do some races including parades, a fitness expo, and 5K runs as well as taking part in the four-day Pier Plaza Festival. Have dinner as you lie back soaking up some rays until about nine o’clock when it is time for fireworks.
Universal Studios
Celebrate America’s birthday with Universal Studios combined with patriotic themes to give it a touch of both worlds. While this year’s plans are still unknown, last year featured themed decorations and a fife and drum band. Fireworks from Universal will be visible around nine o’clock.
Hollywood Bowl
Spend your evening of Independence Day at Harry Connick Jr.’s concert in Hollywood Bowl. A fireworks display follows the three-day event. Tickets go for $15 each.
