H.M. Ramesh Gowda, a former Janata Dal (S) MLC has filed a police complaint against Rahul Gandhi, the Congress leader for calling Hassan MP Prajwal Ravanna a ‘mass rapist’.
In his complaint copy, the ex-MLC has cited the statement made by Mr. Gandhi that Mr. Prajwal Revanna had raped four hundred women.
“On behalf of all the supposed victims of this case justice must be done and as public servant on oath to disclose and he know concerning offense and details about 400 ladies raped intentionally fails to disclose this information . Mr.Gandhi is thereby liable under section 202 of IPC,” read part of the complaint.
“The Special Investigation Team constituted by the government to investigate this case has not issued any notice to Mr. Gandhi requiring him to provide such information. He should therefore be charged with criminal offences in order to ensure justice for these 400 women,” added the complainant.
