The Union Minister of Coal and Mines G. Kishan Reddy has revealed that he will come up with “Mission 100 days program” for his ministry after discussions with senior officials in a few days’ time. He intends to among other things increase the revenue base for both the Central and State Governments through coal production and supply to power plants.
On Monday night at New Delhi while speaking to the press, the minister cited coal as crucial in meeting India’s power demand as well as contributing to its development. Thus, coal extraction, transportation, exportation, workers welfare and other related matters are major issues that I am sure I will handle in this important department as part of the new government.
Most of the coalmines in India are under control by respective state governments and several private sector companies are associated with it. As per him, before 2014 country had faced shortages in electricity but these have been resolved effectively by enhancing coal mining that leads to power generation since then according to Mr.Modi.
The demand for electricity is increasing throughout the nation due to different purposes such as domestic use, agriculture or industrial processes. However unlike “scams” during past Congress Party led regimes which were not only avoided by NDA Governments but also progressive measures were introduced without leaving any room for corruption according to me said Mr.Reddy.
Mr.Kishan Reddy congratulated Bandi Sanjay Kumar – his colleague from Karimnagar MP who has been made Minister of State for Home Affairs whereas NDA allies including Y.Rammohan Naidu of Telugu Desam party was given Civil Aviation post for Andhra Pradesh neighborly now they can work together on an airport project coming up in Warangal he added
CBN’s swearing-in ceremony will be attended by Bandi Sanjay
Meanwhile Sanjay Kumar has declared that he would be present at the swearing in of Telugu Desam Party’s (TDP) president N. Chandrababu Naidu as Andhra Pradesh chief minister for a record fourth time on Wednesday at Vijayawada. On the same day, he was scheduled to fly back to New Delhi.
